Beauty & Skin

Real skin health comes from two directions at once: what you apply and what you absorb. Harmover's beauty range combines topical peptide serums and ancestral tallow creams with beauty-from-within supplements — collagen peptides, resveratrol and turmeric — that address the internal drivers of skin ageing that topicals simply cannot reach.

Inside Out, Outside In

Collagen, resveratrol and turmeric address the internal drivers of skin ageing — declining collagen synthesis, oxidative damage and chronic inflammation. Peptide serums and tallow creams work on the surface. The most effective approach uses both directions simultaneously.

Why Peptides in Skincare

Peptides are short amino acid chains that act as cellular signals. Applied topically, they tell fibroblasts to produce more collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid. The Retinol & Peptide Face Serum pairs these with encapsulated retinol — clinically proven for cell turnover — for a compound anti-ageing effect.

The Tallow Difference

Grass-fed tallow's lipid profile mirrors human sebum more closely than almost any other natural ingredient. It penetrates without occlusion, carries fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E and K in bioavailable form, and is completely free from synthetic preservatives, emulsifiers or mineral oil.

Why your skin recognises tallow

Grass-fed tallow is not a wellness trend. It is a return to an ingredient that human skin has co-evolved with for millennia — and modern biochemistry now explains why it works so well.

A, D, K
Fat-soluble vitamins
Tallow naturally contains vitamins A, D, E and K in their bioavailable fat-soluble forms — supporting cell turnover, barrier repair and antioxidant protection from within the lipid matrix itself.
Sebum Match
Lipid compatibility
Tallow's fatty acid profile — oleic, palmitic and stearic acid — mirrors human sebum more closely than almost any synthetic or plant-based alternative, allowing it to penetrate the barrier without occlusion.
CLA
Anti-inflammatory fatty acid
Conjugated linoleic acid — found in grass-fed tallow but not grain-fed — has anti-inflammatory and skin-barrier-supporting properties. This is why grass-fed sourcing matters, not just tallow in general.
Clean
No synthetics
Free from synthetic preservatives, PEG emulsifiers, mineral oil, parabens and synthetic fragrance compounds — all of which can disrupt the skin microbiome and barrier function over time.
Common questions

Questions about beauty & skin

What is tallow cream and why is it good for skin?
Tallow cream is a moisturiser made from rendered grass-fed beef fat. Its fatty acid profile — oleic, palmitic and stearic acid — mirrors human sebum, making it highly compatible with the skin barrier. It naturally contains vitamins A, D, E and K, conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) and is free from synthetic preservatives and emulsifiers. Harmover's Tallow Creams are grass-fed Supliful formulations in two variants: Orange & Bergamot for daytime use and Peaceful Night for overnight repair.
What do peptide serums actually do?
Peptides are short amino acid chains that act as cellular signals. Applied topically, signal peptides tell fibroblasts to produce more collagen, elastin or hyaluronic acid, or inhibit enzymes that break down existing collagen. The Retinol & Peptide Face Serum pairs these with encapsulated retinol — which directly accelerates cell turnover and collagen synthesis — for a more comprehensive anti-ageing effect. The encapsulation prevents the irritation common with unprotected retinol.
What is the difference between the two Tallow Creams?
Both share the same grass-fed tallow base. The Orange & Bergamot is the daytime cream — citrus and bergamot scent, formulated for morning application. The Peaceful Night is formulated for evening use with calming botanicals suited to overnight repair. Many members use both as a morning and evening routine, with the Retinol & Peptide Serum applied in the evening under the Peaceful Night cream.
How does resveratrol help skin?
Resveratrol protects skin cells from UV-induced oxidative damage and reduces the chronic inflammation that accelerates visible skin ageing. It also activates sirtuins — longevity proteins that regulate cellular repair — and supports collagen integrity. Taken internally at 600mg (50% standardised), it addresses the internal oxidative and inflammatory environment that topical products cannot reach.
Why does collagen need to be hydrolysed?
Collagen molecules are too large to be absorbed intact through the digestive tract. Hydrolysis breaks collagen into smaller di- and tripeptide fragments that can cross the intestinal wall into the bloodstream. These fragments then signal fibroblasts in the dermis to produce new collagen. Harmover's Grass-Fed Hydrolyzed Collagen Peptides are sourced from pasture-raised bovine and provide Type I and III collagen — most relevant to skin elasticity, hair strength and joint integrity.
